North Texas Giving Day 2024!

Thank you for reading about us! Wendi believed  that opportunity is everything.  That’s why The Wendi Atwood Rogers Foundation mentors underrepresented youth and rising professionals giving them the tools, skills and network connections to turn opportunities into better futures.  Wendi helped neighbors, friends, acquaintances, co-workers, kids and adults, and many strangers who were lost in life or career.  Her leadership skills and kindness converged to help many people in her short life, and through the Foundation, we continue to help people to this day. Since 2017, we have been offering free mentor workshops and networking events, along with organizing community projects, and granting funds to various non-profit programs and underfunded schools that provide mentoring.  

We have raised approximately $25,000 over the past 6 years, none of which was or will be used for administrative expenses.  We partner with and provide grants to great organizations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area including Dallas Education Foundation, Journey Forward Mentoring, Journey to Dream, Tom Bean ISD, and Communities in Schools of North Texas to name a few.  

Our Needs

We are raising funds to help groups such as shelters for homeless teens in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and beyond.  All funds go to help at-risk youth and adults seeking personal and professional development through mentorship. Mentoring is extremely important, and we are here to help first-generation high school and college graduates, people starting a first or new career, and those who are simply trying to survive and succeed.
