This event aims to raise funds to support the foundation's mission of providing medical treatments, hearing aids, cochlear implants, and comprehensive auditory support to those in need, particularly children and adults from low-income backgrounds.
Purpose:
The funds raised during the "Gift of Hearing" event will be utilized to:
- Provide Surgeries and Medical Treatments: Cover the costs of cochlear implant surgeries and related medical treatments to restore hearing in profoundly deaf individuals.
- Supply Hearing Aids and Accessories: Ensure that individuals with mild to severe hearing loss receive the necessary hearing aids and accessories to improve their quality of life.
- Offer Audiological Services and Therapies: Support ongoing audiological evaluations, hearing aid programming, and auditory-verbal therapy sessions.
- Support Educational and Rehabilitation Services: Aid in the educational development and rehabilitation of hearing-impaired individuals, enabling them to integrate fully into mainstream society.
