The Dallas Junior Wheelchair Mavericks is an incredible adaptive basketball program designed for kids with mobility challenges. Having been a part of this program for  two years, I can confidently say it has been a transformative experience for me. I've not only made many friends but also developed a strong sense of responsibility and boosted my self-esteem through participation in the program.

This initiative is vital for many of us who rely on it to engage in sports, as there are no adaptive sports programs available in public schools. The Mavericks offer a unique opportunity for kids like me to participate in basketball, learn about discipline, and foster determination. These are lessons that extend beyond the court and enrich our lives in many ways.
