Hello! The Cauleys are here to ask for your help this North Texas Giving Day in supporting one of our favorite local non-profits.
Hannah: I came to Union in 2013 accidentally. I was not looking for a new friend group, community space, or a church. I stumbled into Union's doors by chance and have not looked back since. At Union I found people who pushed and challenged me, a community who loved and accepted me at all times, and opportunities to grow and learn (which are often far and few to find in your mid 20s).
Now, Union has been a space of sanctuary for me for over 10 years. A space where I have grown into a more authentic version of myself. Where I have developed into a leader in my community & city. Somewhere I get to make music with my friends. It has provided a stage for embracing brave vulnerability and story-telling (and preaching a time or two!)
Ashley: I came to union the summer of 2013 while serving at Project Transformation. Immediately, Union became home. Over the last 10 years, it has given me a community full of acceptance and love, my closest friends who I consider family, and a sense of belonging. It has been support in hard times, guidance as I explore faith, and continues to push me to be the best version of myself. It has shown me how brave it is to be comfortable in a place of the unknown and uncertainty. I spend at least 3 of my days/nights each week there for a reason. I am truly grateful for the impact Union has had and will continue to have on me.
Milo & Quiz: Hello. You might recognize us from our countless features on the Union instagram page. We give Union a 🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴 rating for its delicious craft puppuccinos, friendly baristas (who also give excellent belly rubs), and large lawn for playing with our friends. Please donate to Union so we can continue enjoying our Saturday morning puppuccinos!
Dallas needs more places that feel like Union. So as long-time members, your current Board Chair, a Misfit Whatever & manager, and Union's unofficial furry mascots we ask for any and all support that you can give to help support the next 10 years of this place that we call home.
