As a finalist for DCEO’s 2024 “Social Enterprise” award, we take pride in our mission to cultivate the divine spark within our neighbors, all while serving outstanding coffee and fostering a robust community. Our programs, like Shot of Generosity, Curious Markets, Death Cafe, and Kuneo, illustrate our commitment to the well-being of everyone we serve.

These past few years have been tough, but we’ve weathered the storm thanks to the unwavering support of our community. As we approach our 12th anniversary, we reflect on our journey and look to you for guidance. We want to know: how can we make Union even more extraordinary in the next decade? • Brewing Community: Our outdoor space is now a vibrant hub for performances and gatherings, thanks to our commitment to offering a sanctuary for theater companies and community events.
• Nurturing Leaders: We support 11 candidates for ordained ministry through the Methodist Church, provide free WiFi and affordable conference rooms, and invest in the leadership development of young adults.
• Fostering Equity: From LGBTQ+ equity to racial justice, our investment in ongoing equity work and our participation in the Racial Equity Now cohort demonstrate our dedication to creating a more inclusive community.
• Hosting Events: Our diverse events, including Pride Variety Night, Voter Registration Drives, Open Mic Nights, and more, are designed to foster community, advocacy, and a sense of belonging.
• Supporting Transitions: By investing in young leaders, we continue to nurture and empower the next generation of changemakers for the good of Dallas and the world it inspires.
