We're busy. Many of us have all the animals we can handle for the time being. Maybe you don't want to foster because you're afraid you'll foster fail. Volunteering seems extra in life right now. But, you can donate. Just forgo expensive coffee or some such other luxury for 1 week, donate that, and watch the souls saved by your generosity.
Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is making such a difference in the lives of homeless dogs and cats in our community. On North Texas Giving Day, I am raising money for this all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit because helping animals is important to me. The major programs operated by FRAs include:
- Cat Rescue Program
- Dog Heartworm Treatment Sponsorship
- Shelter Emergency Veterinary Medical Support
- Trap Neuter Return of Community Cats
- Funding Transport of Dogs out of Texas
